Setting up Bargate Exhibition

Bargate Gallery Exhibition with my piece in context

The set up of the Bargate exhibition took a few days to complete. At first  we hung our pieces without much direction, and later had to change them around because the spacing between images looked wrong, along with placement.

My image was hung with bulldog clips, the method was relatively simple to hang the image straight!

I had a few problems, for example, my image was printed on art paper, it was quite stiff and difficult to remove the curve out of it. This meant I had to attach clips to the bottom half of the piece as well.

I think for my Degree Show exhibition I have learned a few things. One being, it will be simpler to measure the area with a blank piece of paper fist. This will allow me to get the image straight and also plan spacing better. I also think that more then one piece would look more striking, so will not print onto one big piece of paper.
