Today we were given a talk by Bruce Ingman. The talk itself was interesting, I enjoyed his works on children's book, especially The Pencil as it was quite different from any other children's books I had seen. I think if I had been currently working on a children's book, this talk would have really helped me, indeed, it inspired me to want to create a children's book possibly in the future. However, here and now it had no reflection on my current project.
The only things I could apply to this project from this talk were to do with possible layout and pacing within a narrative. I think that my narrative is so very different from what Ingman works on, I will have to look elsewhere for a better understanding of pacing, most probably cinema.
